Tales After Dark

A walk through Dublin's wicked past.

IMG_4373.jpeg

When night falls and the streets grow quiet, Dublin shows another side. The shutters close, the air cools, and the city’s long memory begins to stir. Tales After Dark is a small-group walking tour (never more than eight guests) that explores the darker chapters of Dublin’s past through real history, rumour, and legend.

You’ll trace stories of murderers, vampires, and brothel keepers, alongside witches tried and burned, and nobles haunted by banshees. Meet the changelings swapped in darkened cradles, and the restless souls who never quite left. These are not cheap ghost stories, they’re part of the city’s fabric, told for centuries by firelight and whispered through its alleys.

We'll walk through medieval gateways, narrow lanes, and forgotten courtyards where executions, scandals, and strange sightings once made headlines. From witch trials and vanished Crown Jewels to the brothels that hid more than sin, every corner has a story waiting to be uncovered.
