Tales After Darkis an evening walking tour through Dublin’s historic centre, exploring atmospheric streets, medieval gateways, and quiet courtyards while sharing eerie and magical legends. While the route is designed for a relaxed pace, night-time walking brings its own considerations, so we ask all participants to be mindful of the following guidelines:
 

Walking & Street Safety

• This is an outdoor walking tour at night - please wear comfortable footwear and be prepared for uneven surfaces, kerbs, and occasional cobblestones.

• Some areas may be dimly lit. Take extra care when walking, especially on steps or narrow paths.

• Dublin’s streets can be busy in the evenings. Stay close to the group and follow your guide’s lead when crossing roads or moving through crowded spots.

• Dress for the weather. Umbrellas, jackets, or warm layers are recommended, as evenings can be cool or wet.

General Awareness

• We recommend keeping personal belongings secure and valuables out of sight.

• If you have any mobility concerns, please inform us in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Pubs & Venues

• The tour concludes in a historic pub. While there is no requirement to purchase drinks, please be aware that low lighting, narrow stairs, or busy bar areas may require extra caution.

• Alcohol service is at the discretion of the venue. Guests who choose to drink are asked to do so responsibly.

Conduct

• We aim for an enjoyable, respectful atmosphere for all. Disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behaviour (towards fellow guests, the public, or your guide) will not be tolerated.

• Anyone whose behaviour poses a safety risk, or who refuses to follow safety instructions, may be asked to leave the tour without refund.
