DUBLIN HERITAGE TOURS – SAFETY STATEMENT

At Dublin Heritage Tours, the safety and well-being of our guests and staff are our top priorities. We are committed to maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. However, guests should be aware that participation in our tours involves inherent risks. By joining our tours, participants accept personal responsibility for their safety and agree to adhere to the following safety guidelines.

1. General Safety Guidelines

  • Guests must follow all instructions given by their tour guide.

  • Please be mindful of uneven surfaces, cobblestone streets, and curbs that may present tripping hazards.

  • Walking tours may involve extended periods of standing and walking; participants should assess their own physical ability before booking.

  • Comfortable and appropriate footwear is strongly recommended to reduce the risk of slips, trips, and falls.

2. Weather Conditions

  • Tours operate in most weather conditions; guests are advised to dress appropriately for the forecasted weather.

  • In cases of extreme weather (e.g., storms, heavy rain, snow, or high winds), Dublin Heritage Tours reserves the right to cancel or modify the tour for safety reasons. Guests will be notified as soon as possible in such instances.

3. Health & Personal Responsibility

  • Participants should inform the company of any medical conditions that may affect their ability to complete the tour.

  • Guests are responsible for carrying any necessary medication and must take appropriate personal precautions.

  • Dublin Heritage Tours is not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or medical issues that may arise during or after the tour.

4. Liability & Assumption of Risk

  • Dublin Heritage Tours is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings that may occur during the tour.

  • Participation in the tour is at the guest’s own risk. Dublin Heritage Tours, its employees, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any accidents, injuries, or losses sustained during the tour.

  • Guests acknowledge that certain risks exist, including but not limited to:

    • Slips, trips, and falls on uneven or wet surfaces.

    • Exposure to changing weather conditions.

    • Unexpected interactions with other pedestrians, cyclists, or vehicles in public spaces.

5. Alcohol & Conduct

  • Dublin Heritage Tours reserves the right to refuse service to any participant who is intoxicated, disruptive, or poses a safety risk to themselves or others. No refunds will be provided in such cases.

6. Children & Vulnerable Guests

  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Guests with mobility concerns or other special requirements should contact us in advance so we can advise on the suitability of the tour.

7. Emergency Procedures

  • In case of an emergency, guests should immediately notify their tour guide.

  • Guides are aware of emergency protocols and will assist in contacting emergency services if needed.
