At Dublin Heritage Tours, we’re committed to making every experience safe, enjoyable, and memorable. The Pub Crawl Through Time is a guided walking tour through Dublin’s city centre, combining rich historical storytelling with visits to some of the city’s most iconic pubs. While this is a relaxed and social tour, we ask all participants to be mindful of the following safety guidelines:

Walking & Street Safety

• This is an outdoor walking tour - please wear comfortable footwear and be prepared for uneven surfaces, kerbs, and occasional cobblestones.

• Dublin’s streets can be busy, especially in the evening. Stay close to the group and follow your guide’s lead when crossing roads or navigating crowded areas.

• Dress for the weather! Umbrellas, jackets, or layers are often a good idea.

In-Pub Awareness

• Some venues may have low lighting, narrow stairs, or slick floors - please take care when moving around and alert your guide if you need assistance.

• If you have any mobility concerns, let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Alcohol & Conduct

• This tour includes alcoholic beverages and is strictly for guests aged 18 and over. ID must be provided if requested. Anyone unable to provide sufficient identification or believed to be providing false identification will be asked to leave the tour, without refund. 

• While we absolutely encourage a relaxed and social atmosphere, we ask all participants to drink responsibly and respectfully throughout the evening.

• The tour price includes two drinks - your choice of pints or half-pints of beer, lager, stout, cider, or house spirits with mixers (up to a maximum of €10 per drink). Shots and top-shelf liquors are not included. Non-alcoholic alternatives are also available upon request at each venue.

• Guests are welcome to purchase additional drinks at their own expense, but please be aware that the tour follows a set schedule and cannot wait for anyone to finish their drink. If you choose to buy extra beverages, make sure you can finish them before we move on, or be willing to leave them behind.

• Above all, we want everyone to have fun - but not at the expense of others. Disorderly, disruptive, or rude behaviour (whether towards fellow guests, pub staff, the public, or your guide) will not be tolerated. Anyone who is visibly intoxicated or behaving inappropriately will be asked to leave the tour immediately, without refund.

Health & Dietary Notes

• Light snacks may be served during the tour. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, please inform us at the time of booking. While we communicate these to our pub partners, we cannot guarantee allergen-free environments.
