Safety Statement: Homeland Heritage

At Dublin Heritage Tours, your safety and comfort are always a top priority. Homeland Heritage is a longer-format walking tour that takes you through the heart of Dublin, with extended time spent outdoors and on foot. This tour includes visits to historical landmarks and public spaces, offering a deeper exploration of the city’s heritage. While we aim to keep the pace manageable and enjoyable, please review the following safety guidelines before joining the tour:

Walking & Outdoor Conditions

  • This tour involves approximately one hour of walking over a variety of surfaces including pavements and cobblestones, plus a considerable amount of standing. We recommend wearing comfortable, sturdy footwear and dressing appropriately for changing weather conditions.

  • Please be prepared for outdoor exposure, including sun, wind, or rain. Layers, waterproof jackets, and sun protection (if needed) are encouraged.

Street Safety & Group Awareness

  • Dublin’s city centre can be busy, and the tour crosses roads and navigates through crowds at times. Please stay close to the group and follow your guide’s instructions when crossing streets or navigating tight areas.

  • Let your guide know in advance if you have mobility concerns so we can adapt the route where possible.

Health & Comfort

  • Please bring a reusable water bottle if you’d like to stay hydrated during the walk.

  • If you begin to feel unwell or require a break at any point, inform your guide - we’re happy to help or adjust as needed.

By booking a place on Homeland Heritage, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this safety statement.
